My name is Anthony Bliss, born January some time in the eighties. I live in the County of Kent, in the UK. I have in excess of 5 years experience designing, writing, maintaining & promoting websites.
Growing up wtih computers from a early age, and always encouraged towards the more technical side of life, I always found myself pulling apart just about anything that has ever been put together in the first place, then rebuilding it, mostly.
Having a keen interest in art and design I began to specialise my skills in the digital creative world.
Having a strong beleif against learning via university and being self motivated, and a quick learner I have studied in my own time and at the Kent Institute of Art and Design -KIAD, now known as the University College for the Creative Arts – UCCA. I am no fan of education in the slightest but I can’t receommend the KIAD or UCCA institutes highly enough, if you want to get into art and design these are great places, easily the best learning experences I have ever had, and I would go back and do it again!
I acheived a BTEC National Diploma in Multimedia Design a course which lasts two years, providing me with new multimedia skills such as digital and model animation, video editing and the use of Adobe’s Creative Suite. In the second year I specialised in Photography for final leg of the course with a trip to Paris in late January, since then I have been keen to explore the world of photography and the digital manipulation of images in greater detail.
I enjoy learning new things, exposing myself to different styles of marketing and advertising, online and off, gaining what advantages I can to understand what is achievable of different techniques and processes.
Commercial Experience
I am currently employed by Gforces Web Management Company as an Online Marketing Executive, based in Bearsted, Kent. Covering On page SEO, Link Building, Email Campaigns, Analytical Studies and Reporting.
I have previously been employed as a designer at an award winning company known as SiteWizard based in Maidstone, Kent. This role involved the building, designing and maintenance of websites for use with their in house Content Management System, logo design, stationary design, ecommerce and flash design.
